Don't Miss This Important Meeting

You have someone very, very important that wants to meet with you today.

His name is Jesus. Your Savior. Your Lord. Your best friend. Your all in all.

Why does He want to meet with you? Why would the creator of the universe want to spend time with you? Why should you be faithful to show up for this meeting?

When you meet with Jesus today, you will experience His PRESENCE. There is nothing like being in the presence of Jesus. In His presence is fullness of joy.

When you meet with Jesus, you will be infused with His POWER. Check out what this verse says.

When you pray, enter into you inner room, and when you have shut the door, pray to your Father which is in secret: and your Father which sees in secret shall reward you. Matthew 6:6

When you spend time with Jesus behind the curtain, you will be empowered to speak His truth in front of the curtain with boldness and authority.

When you meet with Jesus, you will receive PERSEVERANCE. Feel like you can't go on? Tired? Weary in well-doing? Jesus has just what you need. As you talk with Him and listen to Him, He will give you the strength and endurance you need to press on.

I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14)

When you spend time with Jesus and confess your sins, He forgives your sins and you are PURE in the eyes of God.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanses us from all sin. (I John 1:9)

When you spend time with Jesus, you have the opportunity to PRAISE Him. He inhabits the praise of His people. Praise Him for His faithfulness. Praise Him for being trustworthy. Praise Him for His blessings. Praise Him for His forgiveness. Praise Him for His mercy.

When you spend time with Jesus, He PROVIDES for your needs.

Which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! (Matthew 7:9–11)

When you spend time with Jesus, He keeps you focused on the PURPOSE He has put you here for. It's easy to get distracted by the cares and troubles of the world. But when you spend time with Jesus, He takes you back to what really matters. He reminds you of why He created you and why you are here.

When you spend time with Jesus, you can bring your PETITIONS to Him. He has promised to meet your needs and answer your prayers.

When you spend time with Jesus, He gives you His PEACE. It is a peace that passes all understanding. Even during the toughest of times, His peace can rule in your heart.

If you want Jesus to use your life in a great way, then spend time with Him every day.

I am reminded of this verse found in Mark 3:14.

He appointed twelve that they might be with Him, and that He might send them out to preach.

It is easy to get distracted by the cares and troubles of the world. But when you spend time with Jesus, He takes you back to what really matters. He reminds you of why He created you and why you are here.

Notice our first calling. It is to spend time with Jesus. Out of that will come our ministry's success.

Are you like me? Do you hate stopping to get gas? I don't have time to fill up the car, I've got places to go and things to do. But if I don't take the time to stop and get gas, I will find myself stranded on the side of the road.

It's' the same way in ministry. If we don't stop and spend time with Jesus each day and get filled up spiritually, we will find ourselves trying to minister on fumes and will be ineffective.

Nothing of eternal value ever happens without prayer.

Don't let anything get in the way of attending your meeting with Jesus today. He longs to spend time with you.
